Why the FDA Cares About Human Factors and So Should You
Virtual Webinar

Please join us for our virtual webinar “Why the FDA Cares About Human Factors and So Should You.”

If you are developing a medical device or healthcare product that will need FDA clearance, you should be familiar with the FDA’s expected Human Factors process. FDA submissions will need to include proof that the product is safe and effective for use by intended users in the intended use environment. In this presentation, we will introduce the audience to the field of Human Factors, discuss why the FDA regulates Human Factors, and review the FDA’s expected Human Factors process that focuses on use error identification and mitigation. We will also outline the benefits of incorporating Human Factors into the product development process. Audience discussion and questions will be encouraged.

I feel like there are two layers of results which Sage provides us. The first layer provides the answers to our original problem at hand, and they are VERY actionable. The second layer goes up and beyond our expectations. Sage packages up research themes so nicely that we’re able to apply the research to further projects down the line and build up our general knowledge base.

I hired Shannon when I was with Access Graphics and again for Tendril Networks. We found Shannon’s input very helpful and appreciated that she found a way to work within our tight budget. You’ll see upon reviewing her credentials that it’d be pretty hard to find a more qualified and experienced user interface expert. I highly recommend Shannon.
